Jean Luc Maldant created its own Domaine in 1988, and started with 2.5 hectares with Chorey-les-Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune and Aloxe Corton appellations. The whole harvest was then sold to the wine traders from Burgundy. From then, the surface will increase and first bottles produced. In 2003, a partnership with Arnauld Jobard will confirm rigor and precision on vinification and vines cultivation.
The Domaine will increase until 2009, with the resumption of the family vines of Domaine Maldant Pauvelot : the Domaine Jean Luc Maldant becomes then 'Jean Luc Maldant, Grands Vins de Bourgogne'.
