Beaune 1er Cru
100% Pinot Noir
Placed close to Pommard and its calcic brown soil, this vineyard was planted in 1926 in the middle of hill-side on marly and ferruginous ground. Here, the exposure is excellent and assure a completed maturity before the harvests.
Cold maceration under protection of carbon dioxide to protect the precursors of aromas and the colors. Fermentation in tank with managed temperature. Punching of the cap and pumping-over during the vatting time (30 to 35 days). Soft and delicate pneumatic pressing. Maturing in oak barrels during 16 months. Tangential filtration.
Beautiful vivid color, ruby.
Fleshy and generous. Bouquet of flowers (peony).
Clear and delicate, good length, solid structure, notes of spices.
